I was visiting Pennsylvania for the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend and developed a major issue with my eye. All local Eye Centers were closed. I left a voice message for Lakeside Vision. Dr. Amy promptly returned my call and I cannot begin to share how wonderful the attention I received from Dr. Amy was. No need to go into the details. Suffice it to say that without Dr. Amy's care, I would probably be facing a much bigger issue today. When I returned to New York, I met with my Ophthalmologist. His assessment, "The doctor that treated you in Pennsylvania handled the situation Perfectly! You were very lucky she was available."

Staff were friendly, they seem knowledgeable. I Was told my eyes changed a lot, I got home n compared my last script to new one and my new script was a tiny weaker than the last. So no big change. But left there crying with the amount of money they charged for glasses. Because I wasn't told price of the one pair until I got to register and I felt bad at that point to say cancel them, so I just paid n sat n cried afterward. ( My fault for not canceling prior to leaving, not theirs) And then 3 pairs we got broke within a week. Thank heavens I bought their insurance. They did replace and were good about that. The last drs office covered breaks for free without buying additional insurance. Next time I think I'll just get my glasses elsewhere, because of financial reasons or pray I don't need new ones anytime soon. Read more >
