Our children have been patients here as early as 2 and as old as 19. The visits are always great. Everyone is very personable and take time to talk and get to know you instead of immediately getting down to the business at hand. Dr. Martin always has an encouraging word, which is utterly important for the kids to hear from someone besides me.
There are a few caveats to keep in mind though. Because of coronavirus, you have to call from your car to check in. It took me a minute to translate the sign on the door from Spanish to English to figure that out. (There is a sign posted in English, but I didn’t pass that window because of where I parked.) Also, everyone’s temperature is taken at the door, and if 1 of the group is feverish, all of the appointments are rescheduled. And finally, be aware that there’s a 10-minute rule.
