King Movers & Storage

My partner and I used King Movers to move from Medford to Peabody. They showed up right on time! They disassembled & reassembled our larger furniture (sectional, bed frame, dining table) and carefully wrapped our other pieces. They also moved all our moving boxes and lamps. They were so careful with everything--I think we maaaaybe have one lightbulb that doesn't work now as the only sign that anything was moved, even the stuff they had to navigate up our new winding, narrow staircase. This is our first time hiring movers and we feel SO GRATEFUL to have found such a kind, professional team. We literally tell everyone who asks (and honestly even people who don't) how awesome and affordable they were. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is moving.

I’m a month late on writing this, but I wanted to make sure to do it because I feel like people don’t get credit for a job well done much these days. I was moving from a homeless shelter, in Boston, MA (all my stuff was in a storage unit) to an apartment in New York. My entire move was a nightmare because the shelter agency I was working with was not efficient at all and made things very stressful. They hired King Movers to move me 3 days before I was supposed to move, pushing my move back more than a week. To my surprise and great relief, the man who was contacting me to schedule times for moving was very efficient and even managed to start the move a day earlier than originally scheduled!

Most of my things in the storage unit were very poorly packed, and these men took the time and consideration to re-box and re-tape and wrap things to make sure they were packed...

My move went off without a hitch! 3 men showed up wearing gloves, masks and face shields to stay Covid 19 safe!! They wrapped each piece of furniture. I have a large grandfather clock that they took the initiative to cut up cardboard boxes to fully encase the clock for safety. They moved quickly the entire time and asked several times if I wanted anything special to be done!! Their claim to be “affordable” movers is True!!
Very satisfied with their service and would Use them again and highly recommend them.

These guys were great arrived early & started right away, all great guys, took the time to wrap all my furniture for protection, they just all around did a great job & I would hone them again in a milla second

These guys were AWESOME! Came right on time. Moved me out of the North End (which is a nightmare). Had no trouble parking, packed up, drove to Burlington, and unloaded everything under the minimum hours. Really nice guys. They took extra care in moving my leather couch. I'll be recommending them to all my friends for their moves.

Honestly. The move was great. My daughter hired them for a local move. Timing was good, they focused on the work, everything seemed great. Until my daughter realized they had stole her medicine(medical marijuana). Right out of her draw! She has a medical card & has a prescription for it! So wrong to even be going through peoples draws at all. That they are PAID to be moving! And then steal from them!? Unbelievable!
So now they are dodging her calls!
STAY AWAY! Im thinking those other reviews are fake btw. AGAIN.... DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!

We needed a last minute move and King movers were able to accommodate us. The price was great as we also got other quotes and this one was the best. The team took great care of our stuff as they moved it. Professional and hard working. Highly recommend!!
