Our experience with King Affordable Movers was wonderful from start to finish moving from downtown to the suburbs. The quote and booking process was fast and transparent with Laura, who was extremely responsive and took care to explain their pricing structure. On the day of the move the team of 3 movers (led by Jairo, I believe) were absolutely awesome. They arrived early, and worked so efficiently. They were kind enough to help shrink wrap and protect some items I couldn’t figure out how to pack safely. They took great care to protect our items and furniture and ask for our input about how we’d like things transported. I contacted King affordable on May 19th explaining my situation and informing the person that the state would be assisting with the payments. The person I spoke to originally stated that they company is busy the ending and beginning of the month. I explained to him if that was the case, I can follow up with a different moving company all together. He asked how much stuff do I have, he stated that he would give me call back and see what he could do considering it was a small job. He gave me a call back stating that he has June 1st at 1pm. He submitted the invoice and paperwork to the state funders on 5/23/2022. On Friday May 27,2022 I received a text message stating that until it has been approved he’s not able to schedule a date to move.
