Kid Country Childcare

After my son’s previous preschool closed, we switched over to Kid Country’s Blue Gill preschool program. We were extremely nervous because my son is on the shy side and took a year to adjust at his other school- we didn’t want to go through that again for an entire year. After just two weeks at KC, my son was excited to go to school, has grown leaps and bounds due to their curriculum and play-based learning, and is always thrilled to come home and show us what he has learned at school. The staff has been so wonderful with him, and are the main reason for the seamless adjustment.

When we moved to Manhattan we were nervous to start our kids at a completely new school. But immediately our kids were met with caring and welcoming teachers, an atmosphere that teaches their classmates to be welcoming of new friends, and super interesting and unique units to learn. Couldn’t be happier to be a part of the Kid Country family.

My son, daughter and I moved to Manhattan just 2 years ago. 1 year ago I made the hard decision to switch childcare centers after 3 years. It's never easy to change what your kids know. It's even harder when trying to feel out and form trust with new people who will be taking care of our children. However since the 1st day I toured I've felt very comfortable and confident with Kid Country. The touring process was simple with multiple reminders and plenty of information. The center is very clean and organized. My 6 year old son started first in the summer and absolutely loved all the activities and trips the center had planned out.They definitely keep the kids busy with fun! My 18 month old daughter comes home using sign language so academically they go above and beyond! I especially love that my son can bus to and from school right from the center. We have been coming to kid country since last fall when we moved, it has been wonderful in every way. Our two
Boys have enjoyed going to daycare and the communication with staff is always exceptional. We are so happy to have found such a gem that is close to us!

My family and I absolutely love Kid Country! Both of my daughters have either attended or are currently attending at this time. This is an incredible establishment! All the teachers and staff members are extremely friendly and are absolutely great with kids. We feel welcomed as soon as we walk in the door. My daughters have learned so much and are always happy while being at Kid Country. We would absolutely recommend to anyone!!!

We have been so happy with Kid Country! Our son was very nervous about starting preschool, and we toured several places—Kid Country was where he felt most comfortable, and even excited. Since starting, we realized we made the right choice: we love hearing about what the class does each day, the staff is incredibly friendly and supportive, and we have seen such growth in our child.
