Jake had been professional all along the way. The main crew (Christian, Jayvar & Parker) were absolutely awesome! They worked through rain and snow as hard as I’ve ever seen construction assembly guys work and very respectful.

We had some unique punch item issues that Jake’s finishing guys finished but struggled with and Jake’s mantra is “the paying customer is always right” so he called in some outside work to get it done to our satisfaction.

Everything was priced right, built great and were excited to use our deck in the Spring.

We had a major multiple story deck rebuild project at our house...designed in the 70's. The design of the previous deck had multiple levels, weird angles, and a bunch of unusable space.

We ended up using Jake at JV custom decks. He provided drawings, and had good input on how to improve the deck design in a practical and functional way. His bid came in competitively with our other bids.

We enjoyed waking up bright and early to Jake's crew working everyday. The demolition crew came, then the framing + construction crew (Christian and crew, standout guys), then a finishing crew for final details. Somebody was onsite everyday until it was completed, which we appreciated. Crews were professional, respectful, and punctual. Jake was onsite to answer questions every couple days.

We had a great experience with these guys from start to finish. They were very efficient and good to work with getting an estimate and completed the project ahead of time. We love the deck! It is beautiful very good quality. We like the use of brackets instead of screws for a nice smooth finish. We would highly recommend them!

Jake was great to work with. His crew demo'd our old deck and put up a new, beautiful one on time and on budget. We've had a couple small issues afterwards and he's been quick to send someone out for an immediate solution. Building a Trex deck is a big investment, but we felt (and continue to feel) great about our decision.

Buyer beware, once the job is sold you will never see or hear from the owner again and if you do it will be in an extremely unprofessional manner. This is the worst contractor experience I've ever had. They tried to get away with not filing permits and plans even though it was part of the bid, and ended up failing 6 inspections. Their teams continually left our property a mess at times endangering the safety of our pets. In order to get it completed we had to file complaints with DOPL and City of Millcreek. Make sure you do your homework before entering into a contract with this company.
