I was worried I might miss the chance and some investor would take over, but I couldn't let that happen. I called Brian on Thanksgiving Day and couldn't believe he answered the phone. We met the next day to establish a strategy and the rest is history. Now, in a role reversal, I own my building and I'm also landlord to the thrift store.
