As a CAREGiver from Home Instead, I can truthfully say that Home Instead is a great place to work. The key players in both the Bettendorf and Moline offices are extremely helpful and very attentive to their employees' needs as well as their clients' needs. The owners are very caring about all their staff as well as all their clients. Home Instead is a top notch company and I would give them 5 stars all the time. Home Instead gave me a flexible schedule and the best clients and great benefits as well. Overall they are a wonderful company!

I was just hired for a Care Pro position and Mary is a great trainer! She made sure everyone understood what she was teaching before she moved to a new topic. Thank you Mary for making orientation easy!

I was only hired at the beginning of January but this company has been wonderful to work for. I had previously worked for a Home Instead in the panhandle of Florida which is why I applied at this one after moving back to the area. They have good training at the beginning of the hire process that is good for those that aren't very familiar with caregiving and a good refresher for those that are. I have found the staff to be very friendly and helpful to the employee and clients needs. They also do their best to give as many hours as you are looking for with fair pay and try to match you up with a client that will be a good fit to your individual experience. I am very satisfied to work here so far!!

I was introduced to Home Instead at a time when I was looking for assistance for my wife who was fighting against a number of health problems. Although I was impressed with almost all the ladies that came to care for her, there were 3-4 of extremely high quality and the highest of these was a lady named Julia. When, as in the poem "Annabelle Leigh" by Edgar Allen Poe, "When the winged siarrifs of heaven took her away from me," I then retained as a patient the services of this lady and the organization. We've been using Home Instead caregivers to help my mom (who has Alzheimer's and is high-functioning autistic) at her home a few days a week, and it's been really amazing. They've all been professional, kind, and really are making a difference in her life (and in the lives of my brother and me, who care for her). They've been able to help her around the house, help her with her friendly dog, and give her companionship that she just hasn't been getting in months and months. I'm truly grateful for Home Instead, and recommend them highly!
