The Goddard School of Long Hill Township, NJ

The Goddard School is excellent! While we have been home due to Covid-19, their online learning experience has kept our toddler engaged with virtual story times and the many at-home activities that they work hard to create and relate to the curriculum. Every week there is a new theme with accompanying stories and activities. The staff and owners are very friendly and accommodating, and I would highly recommend joining Goddard at Long Hill to any family!

The owners Sumara and Imran are always there so willing to help with absolutely anything and provide such a family atmosphere. They are so kind and pleasant to talk to everyday with their smiles and greetings. It shows in everything they do and everything they say. They have a great warmth and love for the school, children, parents and teachers.

The Director Ms. Donna is just so warm, gracious and like a the ray of sun when you walk in the front door. Something that everyone needs to start off your day! She goes above and beyond with everything and shows so much care for the teachers and children!!

The teachers are all so loving, caring, kind and support you with all needs, concerns and teach the children and infants so much to help them...

I'm so happy that we chose The Goddard School of Long Hill to send our daughter to daycare. She loves her teachers in the Infant Room, and it is clear that they care about her and take care of her well during the day! My daughter always has a smile on her face when I pick her up in the evening. I love that the teachers send pictures everyday so I can see what activities they are doing during the day...and they always do learning, developmental and fun activities! I feel that my daughter is not only getting taken care of at the school, but she is always receiving great socialization and developmental skills, which is very comforting as a mom :)

We enrolled our son in The Goddard School in July and we could not be happier with our decision. From the first time I met the Ahmad family they have been nothing but wonderful! They make it a point to know each and every family, remain present on a day to day basis, and keep an open line of communication with us. Donna, the director, is just as involved with the children as their lead teachers. She greets us every morning at drop off! Our son loves her! It is such a warm feeling to see my son dive into her arms for his morning hug. Donna is wonderful at communicating with the families and is truly passionate about her involvement with the children. I love this school. I have an 18 month old daughter. She has been thriving since the first day at Goddard School. I’m amazed with the things she does. The owners are always there. Their enthusiasm and compassion show and is shared by all the teachers. I am so comfortable leaving my daughter there knowing she is in great hands. The pictures they send me throughout the day help me feel connected and the report at the end of the day is great and super informative.

I cannot recommend the Goddard School of Long Hill enough! We eagerly anticipated opening day and we have not been disappointed. We met with various preschools in the area and none felt exactly right until we met with Sumara, one of the owners of the Goddard School of Long Hill. Her excitement and passion were evident from the first meeting (and I should note, have not waivered since). After researching the school's philosophy and considering some of our own personal experiences with the Goddard franchise, we made our decision. While waiting for opening day our son attended a different preschool and as kids will do, he picked up some negative behaviors and began saying he did not like school or learning. We joined the Goddard family for the first time with our son in the infant room. As a first time, full time working mom to say my standards were high were an understatement.

My husband and I interviewed three other daycares and two other local goddard schools. None of which seemed to truly meet all of our requests and standards. After learning about Goddard’s “steam” education standards and high expectations of their staff, we knew we needed to find the right goddard for our family.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this school! I was so hesitant about sending my daughter to daycare and checked out a lot of places in the area. The feeling I got from Sumara Ahmad and her husband was so comforting. They know that our children are the most important to us and could not make us feel better in making the choice to go with Goddard. They are so hands on that it makes us feel so happy our daughter is in the right place. I love how understanding they are when I call up to check in and never get annoyed!
