Goddard School of Ashland VA

This is a top quality daycare. The kids are always happy to go and they have learned so much there. The owners, staff and teachers are very nice and very professional. They did everything in their power to remain open and keep the children safe during COVID. I don't have one bad thing to say about Goddard Ashland, I would recommend anyone to send their child there.

Two of our granddaughters have attended the Goddard School of Ashland since 2017 and 2018. They love their time at the school and we love watching them grow under the care and guidance of a great teaching staff, excellent directors and wonderful, involved and capable owners. This school feels like a real community and a school family. During the challenges that have been presented as a result of COVID in the greater community, the school has done an amazing job of maintaining a safe environment for the children and the staff and is now reestablishing new, safe and reasonable protocols as the COVID altered world evolves.
Our granddaughters are being taught and loved in ways that make us very happy and excited as we watch them grow. The Owners, Susan and Eric are kind, helpful, attentive and engaged on a daily basis. The Directors are on top of the daily details and...

Everything! My boys come home so happy everyday and are learning so much! It’s a true indication of the quality of teachers and management thats goes into running such a great place! I can’t imagine having my children anywhere else.

The Goddard School in Ashland is more than a daycare/preschool! They treat your family like one of their own. I am so thrilled to have found this school to meet my children’s needs especially during this 2020 Covid year. They make sure to have cleanliness and safety as their number one priority.
The owners, Dave and Laurel, are the kindest people I have met and are involved with the staff and families. This school is a hidden gem within the Hanover community and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a higher education facility for their children.

Our children have been attending Goddard Ashland for a little over one year. We owe a ton of appreciation and gratitude to all staff. From the first day, our boys have been engaged in learning and happy to go to school. As parents, it has been wonderful to watch our boys engaged in learning and happy there. The teachers are excellent and it is clear they have met their calling and love what they do. Fast forward to the time of Covid when being nervous and uneasy about childcare centers reopening was the norm. Goddard didn't miss one element of navigating the times of Covid. From the first day of reopening, they had thought of every scenario. They clearly communicated closing and reopening processes. They have created a safe environment coupled with a safe process for drop off and pick up. It is safe to say the process they have implemented for the safety of all should be the model....

I can not say enough positive things about everyone who works at Goddard. They are professional and kind with my wife and me and more importantly, they are loving, patient, and nurturing with my children. This school is great place for them to learn and grow.

The Goddard School has great safety measures in place that start at the door and end with emails alerting you to drop off and pick up.
My child is always happy to go to School. The teachers create a warm, yet disciplined environment and lessons foster learning and fun!

This school has been great for my son. He has learned so much over the last 2 1/2 years. The teachers he has had have been amazing. Currently he is in the preschool program with Ms. Judy, she is great with him. Really working with him on his letters and tracing, and communicating tips with me to help him. Great school, the owners and management are great also:)I would highly recommend this school!

Cannot say enough great things about this school. Our two girls (pretoddler and KG) love going. The teachers and staff are outstanding. The directors and owners do a great job with communicating and keeping parents up to date.

Our daughter enjoyed attending Goddard of Ashland for two years, from just a few months old through two-years-old. We left only due to an out-of-town move. We found the staff professional and the owner, Dave, very caring. Because of the exceptional experience here, we are choosing another Goddard near our new home with hopes of it meeting the excellence of this one.
