The Learning Tree Howell

My son started at The Learning Tree 1 year ago. I was very apprehensive about starting him in day care because we had previously had a 1-1 babysitter. But I wouldn't have anyone else take care of him! All of the teachers and staff truly have the biggest hearts. The building is always clean. My son absolutely loves going to school there every day and he has learned so much. I would highly recommend The Learning Tree to anyone looking for the best childcare in Howell.

We have been very pleased with learning tree. Everyone greets our daughter by name and her teachers Ms .Brittany and Ms. Stacie have been fantastic. They can even get her to eat broccoli! With whatever turn over there has been in the administration, we have always had consistent care in the classrooms.

My family’s overall experience for the past 4 years with the Learning Tree of Howell has been a pleasant one. There are countless benefits that we are able to take advantage of as customers of the Learning Tree. With 3 children under 8 years old we are able to utilize the before and after care for our school age boys and the Pre-K program for our daughter. The convenience of being able to pick them all up in one place is priceless. The facilities and food program is also top notch.

Miss Keri the lead teacher in our daughters Pre-K classroom is outstanding. We have been thrilled with the enthusiasm, innovative ideas and organization she has brought to The Learning Tree.
We searched the entire Howell and Brighton area for a facility for our family and found The Learning Tree of Howell to be the best option for our needs.

The Learning Tree has been taking care of my 2 boys for about 3.5 years now. When we started they attended the North center in Livonia. We recently moved to Howell and have moved them to the center there. Everyone at both centers have always been amazing. We were very sad to leave North because the teachers there have become so special to our whole family. I can tell that it will be the same in Howell, though. My oldest son was in April's class at the Livonia center before she moved to Howell, and both of my boys were really excited to see her when they started. They ask every morning if they are going to "April's daycare", and if she is not in the office they want to know where she is. All of the teachers we have met in Howell have been wonderful. Our family has been with the learning tree for over three years. We have been very pleased with the teachers our children have had over their time there, and the current round is no exception. Miss Amber and Miss Brittany have helped our youngest boys transition to their new rooms seamlessly, and my youngest usually doesn't want to leave at the end of the day, which has got to be a good sign! Miss Jennifer, Miss Tracy, Miss Stacy, and Miss Sarah were also great with our kids when they were placed in their rooms before moving on. My only complaint is that there seems to have been a lot of turnover not just with assistants and teachers, but also with management recently.

Our experience at Learning Tree has been nothing but excellent! Our kids (4 year old and twin 2 year olds) love the food (they eat cucumbers here but not at home!!) and the outside play space. Mom and dad love the amount of time they spend outside, the routines (they might actually be training us!) and the daily reports. Ms. Keri and Ms. Amber in preschool have been wonderful with engaging our son's imagination. I'm loving the communication from Ms. Halley on our girls' development and the daily changes I see in them with more words, more singing and dancing and even interest in the potty.

Our son started attending LT when he was 14 months old. He's now 4 and his little sister also attends (started much earlier at 3 months and is now almost 2). The overall experience our family has had with LT far out weighs anything else. The center itself is clean, has room for the kids to play, lots of things for kids to do as well, and a well rounded/healthy menu that puts this busy working mom worries aside. The teachers my kids have had and currently have over the last few years have been AMAZING!!!!! Every one of the teachers at the center goes above and behind, and I know my kiddos are in amazing/capable hands when I can't be. I would highly recommend the LT to any parents!

Our daughter (21 months) loves her "school"! She is an only child and we felt it was important for her to not only grow socially but also have some fun learning experiences as well The Learning Tree has exceed our expectations on so many levels! It's so much more than a "daycare", it's a true Learning Center! She seemed to fit right in and loves her teachers, but she seems to have a soft spot in her heart for Ms. Halley. :) She's been enrolled for just about two months and we couldn't be happier with our decision so far and would highly recommend anyone to put them on your list to visit if you're looking for daytime child care! <3

Our son has been attending The Learning Tree for the past year and my wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the time he has had there. Miss Randi, Miss Melissa, and Miss Stacy (Infant Room Teachers) are complete rock stars at their jobs and you can tell the kids all love them by the constant smiles on their faces.

Our son seems to come home each day having learned something new. From sign language to sing-along-songs! The food that is provided is also top notch and our son seems to love it.

When you realize your child spends just as much time with their teachers as they do their parents, it becomes obvious how important a nurturing, learning, and friendly atmosphere is and we couldn't be more happy that our son loves his school as much as we do!

Overall I was happy with The Learning Tree - Howell.
Preschool (Amber Costa & Cyrstal Strawser) were amazing teachers. My child loved going to school to be with these two teachers. My child was ready to the Pre-k program to Cyndia Roberts room. Really enjoyed the program and was taught new things. My only concerns about the pre-k program is that don't really do much with sight words or prepping them to start reading. It would be nice for the Pre-k program director to start introducing this into the program to better prepare children going into kindergarten.
