The Learning Tree Howell

I would not recommend sending your kids to this Childcare facility, as they do have have the best interest with your kids health. They are to concerned about there core values. My LO attended this facility for almost 2 years and we ended up pulling her due to them not caring. I will say my daughters teachers were not the issue , it was the office staff and the directors that didn't care to help, instead they try to "fix" the issue without trying. We also had a meeting with one of the office ladies and during the meeting she decided to answer the phone instead of helping finding a solution. During our time there, we seen lots of employees come and go. They have a huge turnover rate.

We have been taking our 3.5 yr old son to learning tree since he was 15 months. Nothing short of amazing - everyone has been so great. Ms. Larissa was his teacher in TPS and she was awesome! With all 2 year olds there are some struggles and Ms. Larissa did such a great job in helping him learn helping him choose to make good choices. If you are looking for child care The Learning Tree and their amazing staff is the place to be!

Emily A is the best and my children really enjoy time spent with her.

It is clear Emily has a passion for working with young children. She is very attentive and shares details about my child’s day and growth she continues to see in him. Thanks Miss Emily!

We had high hopes for the Learning Tree Howell location, as we were transferring to the Howell location from Livonia West - which we absolutely loved and adored! The two centers are night and day difference, and not in a positive respect. The Howell location needs significant attention - specifically to address overall management issues. After a very brief time at this location, we decided to pull our child completely from their program.

Here are a few of the high-level concerns I observed while my child was enrolled at this specific location:

- Major issues with Staff Retention: In the four short months we were enrolled at Learning Tree Howell, there was a complete turnover in staffing in my child's classroom, including classroom assistants and lead teachers. We love The Learning Tree! My daughter loves seeing Ms. Larissa, Emily and Sara! Sometimes in the morning she is shy and needs assistance transitioning. They do a fantastic job helping her. My daughter has so much fun learning and engaging in all of the activities Ms. Larissa plans. I love getting updates on her day and seeing pictures. The Learning Tree is very accommodating for the needs of each child. Thank you so much Ms. Larissa for taking such good care of our daughter-we know she is in excellent hands!! ❤️

Larissa cared for my son in when he was in the TPS class and is now one of the caregivers for my daughter in the infant room. Larissa has an upbeat and fun demeanor and I can tell that she really enjoys caring for the babies! I enjoy the pictures that she takes of my baby and feel totally comfortable with her caring for my kiddos.

Our son has been going to the Learning Tree in Howell for a little over a year. His first teacher was Miss Larissa. Miss Larissa was wonderful. She made me feel like he was in good hands and he always came home happy. He has since graduated to a new class room with Miss Stacy who is also wonderful. But he still get lots of love and hugs from Miss Larissa. The Learning Tree and the teachers who take care of my son have been great.

The Learning Tree is lucky to have Miss Larissa as one of their teachers. She was my son’s lead teacher in the Infant room, and she made handing him off to other folks to care for all day bearable. I knew he’d be comforted, played with, cared for and educated every day. She was always cheerful and professional, and I was blessed to see my son excited for school, thanks to her care of him. We highly recommend her!!

We love the care our baby receives in Larissa's room. Our daughter needs special supports (food allergies and developmental delays), and Larissa and her support team are always very helpful in making sure our daughter gets the care she needs
