The Learning Tree Howell

I've waited a few months to write this, but please do your research before sending your child here. We thought we were sending our child to the best daycare in Livingston county! Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. I didn't do our research on the state website (LARA) to notice all the "special investigation" reports across the Learning Tree Centers... constantly out of ratio. Our son was in the infant program from 3-14 months old. From around 11 months to 14 months we noticed that he was acting odd every time he came home from here. We started to track his behavior over a 3 month period and it was heartbreaking. It finally clicked, when one day we picked our child up and he was extremely dehydrated and lethargic. We had contemplated taking him to the hospital it was so bad. We found out that our son wasn't given water freely throughout the day during 90 degree heat and was...

The Leaning Tree is an amazing place. The entire staff is so helpful, anytime I have a question or concern they are quick to respond or find the answer. I am so glad that I found a daycare for my son, that is as amazing and supportive as The Learning Tree.

My family absolutely loves The Learning Tree and everything that it offers! My daughter has only been going here for a couple of months, but even as an infant she smiles like crazy when she sees the staff. Miss Emily & Miss Taylor are excellent with keeping me updated with everything that is going on throughout the day (I LOVE the pictures) and they are amazing with my 4 month old! My daughter, even though very young, absolutely adores Miss Emily (Her smiles and laughs show it)! Miss Emily has been so amazing and welcoming since day 1 and you can truly tell that she absolutely adores the children! It makes me feel so good knowing that my daughter is taken care of and that she is safe! The staff here is truly amazing and so friendly!

My family loves the Learning Tree! The staff and directors are fantastic! The food is all homemade, the facility is super clean and they communicate with parents all the time. Ms. Erica is our teacher right now and both of my children love her and look forward to going to school. Highly recommended!

Miss Erica is amazing! She was effortlessly able to handle both my kids sensory issues and ADHD, ensuring they had an awesome summer!

Ms Amber is amazing. Our daughter learns something new and fun every single day. She loves going to "school" because of the great structure provided. We cannot say enough good things about The Learning Tree Howell.

We moved out of state and were switching our 4-year-old from moms day out the program but more pre-school. We were looking for a program to get him ready for kindergarten and the learning tree is our favorite place. You get everything you pay for and more. My son is constantly talking about all the activities, friends and things he is learning all the time. I love that they put a focus on outdoor time and are really helping him be ready for kindergarten. The splash pad is awesome and I love the weekly themes and menus and reports. You can even see how much your kid is eating taking naps and have real-time updates. I feel like the class size is just right and the office has been super helpful every step of the way. I really do feel like they have their stuff together. 5 stars! (My son has been going for over a month the time of writing this)

I have nothing but great things to say about my son’s time at LT. He had some rough patches while in Pre-K, and Ms. Erica was patient and kind. Brady loved going to LT, and he still talks about it from time to time. I’m thankful for everything they’ve done for us over the 2 years we were there. ☺️
