Free Body Physical Therapy

Love this place! All of the staff were extremely nice and welcoming. The atmosphere was great, and my physical therapist did an amazing job at getting my back into better shape. Definitely recommend.

when i first visited free body, my neck pain was so severe that i found it difficult to perform daily tasks — even working from home was painful. after just a few sessions with marissa and michal, i was able to move much more effortlessly. everyone i interacted with at free body was so knowledgable and so communicative. they earned my trust right away, even though i was very hesitant about starting physical therapy in the first place.

although i live above another physical therapy clinic, i went to free body because they had an opening sooner than the place below me. i figured i would just stop going to free body after my first appointment and switch to the one downstairs for the remainder of my treatment, but after literally one session, marissa and michal had already made me feel so comfortable and confident in my recovery that i chose to keep coming back to see...

I have been seeing Marissa for almost 5 months after being hit by a car and suffering a tibial plateau fracture and a humerus fracture. I was in a wheel chair when I first got there and now I’m moving and grooving without any assistance :)

What makes Free Body different is you are given complete individual attention. It feels like Marissa knows my knee and shoulder like her own! She is constantly helping me improve my mobility and celebrates how far I have come. (See my first steps after 8 weeks in a wheelchair below!)

I saw Dr. Marissa Nemec over a couple months for a nagging
shoulder injury. She immediately identified mobility issues that caused the injury and gave me multiple simple exercises and stretches that greatly reduced my pain. Within a few weeks I was back to my old gym routine with no pain at all! Highly recommended.

Mark is a highly skilled and attentive physical therapist. I had a neck and elbow issue as a result of sport injury. I was 80% better after just a few sessions. I am really lucky I found him.

I was involved in a pedestrian accident and although I didn’t break anything, I still had pain in my knee that was preventing me from having full range of motion. I went to see Marissa and in a matter of a couple of sessions I started feeling a huge difference. She’s really good at listening your concerns and habits to ensure she gives you actionable steps to take home and help in your recovery. While in session with her, she always made sure our time together was enjoyable and that she worked on my knee in a way I couldn’t do at home. I am so thankful to Marissa because I now have full range of motion back on my knee and I’ll miss coming into seeing her!

As a doctor myself, I have to be honest I was skeptical of doing therapy to get better. But my orthopedic surgeon referred me to Free Body and after a thorough assessment and one session of one on one therapy with Marc, I could feel a significant difference! Marc gave me exercises to do every day and they provide immediate relief and I can feel my back getting stronger each week. I now can walk long distances without discomfort and my back doesn’t get tied in knots so easily. And if I feel a twinge of pain I immediately do the prescribed exercises and break the spasms. Free body physical therapy is one of the best places I've ever been In my life for therapy. Marc and Marissa Are great as a team together. When I first meet them I couldn't even walk or drive my car. But Marc recommended Dry Needling from marissa in let's just say she is great at what she does.i would not be back at work or driving around if it wasn't for them two. Thank you guys so much I really appreciate everything and I will be recommending you guys to everyone.

I went here to treat my back pain and related post-surgery ankle problems, after I had become frustrated with the assembly-line-like treatment from PT's like Athletico. This was a welcome breath of fresh air; even though it's a small place, the personal attention was vastly different from the larger PT places I've been to, and their manipulations / treatments were super effective. Not only that, Marc and Marisa are some of the friendliest, most knowledgeable , and trustworthy PT's I've ever met, with excellent communication and attention to detail.
