The hardwood floor installation was done nicely, however there were two points I was not at all happy about. One, the baseboard they used to replace the old one was actually not new; it was actually in much worse condition than the original one. I pointed it out and the installer said that it was new, which it was not, of course. Two, I did not get the floor color I wanted. I told the contractor to let the installers know I did not want a color; I told him all I wanted was a clear finish, no tint! The installer put in a tint. When I asked if that was a clear finish, he told me yes, which it was not! There is definitely a lack of communication between the contractor and his crew; he simply lets them do what they want, and do not care about what the customer wants. Not acceptable! The floor was installed in April 2018
