Karlee is the kind of bartender who doesn’t just pour drinks — she serves up full-blown charm offensives. Somewhere between her dangerously good cocktail recommendations and her effortless banter, she tried to talk me into ordering an elephant ear.

Let me be clear: I didn’t cave. I held the line. No fried dough was consumed. But the woman made such a compelling case for it, I briefly questioned everything I thought I knew about self-control and dinner plans.

If she puts half as much passion into every drink as she does pitching pastries, it’s no wonder the bar was packed. Five stars for the drinks, the vibe, and the dangerously persuasive snack propaganda.

Watch out — you’ll come in for a beer and leave wondering if an elephant ear counts as dinner.

It was a great time!! Isabella was extremely helpful, kind and courteous! She was very easy to work with when we brought up my allergies. The view is amazing! Loved getting to sit by the lake and watch the ducks!

When you go to the Flipping Cow, ask to sit by the window and request Isabella to be your server and you will not be disappointed!

This place had such high praise regarding their burgers, so we decided to give it a try! All we wanted was a good old fashion American dinner: Burger, fries and milkshakes...and left with disappointment.

Want to give high marks to the cheese nugs...they were amazing! 😍

However, the rest of our dinner was not satisfying at all...

My son enjoyed his Double, double, double burger but got cold fries. My husband enjoyed his Hangover burger but his malted vanilla milkshake tasted like a plain vanilla shake (there was nothing malt about it). My Bonnie looked good on the menu but came out looking and tasting awful. The burger was barely room temp, cool enough that the shredded cheese tossed on it was hard and the "garlic mushrooms" tasted like regular canned mushrooms (with not even the slightest hint of garlic flavor)! 🤢 I had to add salt...

Saturday afternoon visit early August. Sat outside lakeside. Mya took great care of us. Enjoyed everything.

Sarah was great! Food was great! What more could we ask for?
