Loved being here. I’ve waited since 1989 to get here! It is a fun drive to get here … it’s well off the beaten path. We arrived on a day with on and off rain and there were a series of Little League games being played so there was no real way to walk the field, to play catch or to walk out of the corn. Oh well. The gift shop was nice and had some quality items from Baseballism. The gift shop does NOT take cash. Speaking of cash, have your $20 ready when you arrive as a man asked for the donation as you roll in … there was a picture on an earlier review and we planned to get the cash out and put it in once we parked but we had to rummage and and get it out before proceeding. Not a bad thing (I like having the field there and and glad to support it), we just didn’t expect it to play out that way. Remember there is no running water but plenty of clean porta potties. Meh...i don't care for baseball anyway. Seems a lot more commercialized since i was there as a young adult. Appreciated the kybo bathrooms though. Made it just in time. Read more >

This used to be free and neat. Now they want $20 (they call it a free will donation). There used to be a small shack that sold some souvenirs and now there is a huge red building selling stuff. You can't walk into the corn for a picture. It's commercialized since the big field came in. The ball field and house are there, just dwarfed by stuff taking your money. I think this is the last time I'll visit and I don't recommend it. Read more >
