It is a very cool place, no doubt about that. I couldn’t believe that they tore down the MLB stadium, but from what I understand, they have big plans for youth baseball… Tournaments and such. A huge organization has taken over, so I guess that’s going to take away the small town, atmosphere, and the free admission! At least $20 was “suggested“, but we did get a bumper sticker out of the deal. Oh, and it does cost another $20 a head to visit the house inside. Do take your ball glove. Once you’re in, it doesn’t cost anything more to take part in play on the original field. Welcome to Iowa! Read more >
