Field of Dreams Movie Site

Hats off to all the owners over the years for having preserved this iconic site! It is magical from the time you drive up the driveway to the time you pull away! Even though the corn had been harvested, it still seemed like Shoeless Joe Jackson would appear and want to play ball. We even took a few swings on the field with the gear that is provided for your enjoyment, and other families did the same. The house tour was extremely informational, I highly recommend it! ($20/person) I have mixed feelings about all of the ball fields that are in the works to be built around the original, but still think it’s worth every mile to come and have the experience of standing on the Field of Dreams! The volunteers that keep the Field of Dreams so beautiful, are the life blood of this iconic baseball must see location. For just a donation you receive a lapel pin for everyone in your car, and a bumper sticker that reminds you of another item on your bucket list ticked off. Well worth the drive to Dyersville Iowa!
