Fern Creek Dentistry

A broken tooth brought me to Fern Creek, but the quality of care I have gotten there will keep me there for sure.

I first visited a different dentist office after I had a tooth break as they could see me the quickest. I felt rushed through and only the most expensive option, an implant, was emphasized. They didn’t even really seem to think getting my broken tooth fixed was a priority and wanted to do several other steps prior to fixing the broken tooth in my mouth.

When I visited Fern Creek they were incredibly kind and explained all my options to fix the broken tooth and then address another problem area before focusing on cleanings and such. Dr. Lee quickly put me at ease as he explained things thoroughly and the different options, their advantages and their costs. The office staff provided quotes so that I could make an informed decision.

Service was quick and painless.

I had a terrible experience at this dental clinic. They worked on one of my molars, and after taking an excessive number of X-rays (which we all know are harmful), the job was poorly done. Now, I feel sharp pain every time I drink something cold. On top of that, their prices were outrageously high. I do not recommend this clinic at all.

My mother went in for a filling over 2 weeks ago and has not been able to open her mouth since then. My mother is a retired veteran on disability and cannot eat solid foods now. She walked in with a tooth issue and now cannot open her mouth and is in constant pain. I went to her first appointment with her and the same cold callous bed side manner she received that day has been the constant in her communication with this dentist office. Beware taking your family here

If you have dental anxiety stay far away from this place. As a matter of fact if you have teeth stay away.
I had a filling done on December 11th 2024, and been in pain ever since. I have returned to the office several times to be prescribed antibiotics, and steroids. I have been called crazy and gaslit like the pain was in my head. I have been to the urgent care and the emergency room for my jaw that won't open. I think you should be ashamed of yourselves to play in somebody's mouth and call yourselves dentists.
Thank you Dr. Patel for calling me back and finally telling me I need physical therapy on my jaw because I can't open it. So I have to pay for this as well. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. There is no compassion or empathy in this profession anymore. Then they wonder why people don't like to come to the dentist.** Update **

I wish to say that Dr. Patel and all his staff are top notch and strive to help you out.
While I initially scheduled this mostly as a second opinion on a possible implant, I also set this up as an initial consultation to determine if we would use their dental practice as our primary dentist.
The initial consult was very comprehensive. They provide a complete evaluation and take the time to go over the results as well as the x-rays. They did find a couple of issues which needed to be addressed (and I previously knew about).
For this first visit where I had to have two crowns done at once; I had to insist that I be given nitrous. After some initial hesitation, they did provide it. Believe me, I have been to the dentist more that a few times, but having two crowns done at the back of my mouth was definitely a reason for nitrous: between nerves, first time visiting this...

This is a cool place to visit.
