I requested an appraisal for an ARV of a property I am considering purchasing. Initially, my appraiser told me he would arrive at the property between 11am - 1pm. Thankfully he agreed to call me when he was 15 min away. 1pm came and went and I called to see if the appt was cancelled. He shared there was a miscommunication and met me at the property in 30min. During the appraisal, there were some rooms in the house that he did not even step into to look around (where I had to point out damage). Now I am out of $500 with an appraisal that I don't have confidence in to move forward with my deal.
