After lots of recommendations from friends, we tried Dragon Gym when my son was 4. He's about to turn 10 next month and is still a student at DG. On his very first day, he was scared and crying in the car, and didn't want to go inside. Instructor Lonnie not only talked him into coming into the gym, but had him go with him to the front of the class to be his "assistant" until he felt comfortable. That kind of caring spirit is what makes this place so unique. Every kid feels special at DG - instructors don't play "favorites" here unlike coaches in other sports. Even kids who aren't especially athletic or coordinated can and do succeed. Each and every class provides a mix of physical strengthening, self-awareness, and of course, fun.
