I work at the front desk at this gym. I just started working at the gym a couple of months ago and I already feel like family! I get to interact with the kids, train with the amazing teachers, and keep myself healthy. It is an atmosphere that you want to be surrounded by and is fun too! All of the staff are so passionate about what they do and it really shows! I have never been apart of a business that really cares about every single person that steps through their doors. There are many martial arts studios in the area. We visited several. There are NO other gyms like Dragon Gym, for many reasons. The staff is amazing, friendly & inviting, and make kids feel welcome starting their first day. I guarantee they'll call your child by name at the end of orientation. The classes are wonderful and challenging. Clearly, they "know their stuff." But it's the inclusive nature that extends to parents feeling welcome, cared for even. Programs are extended to parents, including nutrition videos, etc. Of course there are adult programs including Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Taekwondo, Kettlebells and Muay Thai kick boxing, to name a few! I could not recommend The Dragon Gym and its expert staff any more highly! Everyone I've been so lucky to meet and/or train with has been fabulous and they really care about their students. They offer convenient class schedules which work great for my busy schedule (I train at night during the week and on the weekend).

Also, they will teach you THE REAL DEAL and you will see results. Case in point: Two years ago, I walked into The-Dragon Gym for my first Russian kettlebell lesson. I had always heard how fabulous kettlebells were for conditioning and weight loss and after being at my heaviest point at 162 lbs, 31% BMI and by "the charts" borderline obese since I'm 5'3", I was sick of myself and was ready for a change. We have been coming here for over 8 years! They have everything for the whole family! Martial Arts for all ages, yoga, kettle bells, Mui Tai, and the list goes on! Everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. You always feel welcomed when you open the door. The instructors and teachers are the best around. We signed our son up last fall after he attended a birthday party and LOVED it. My daughter asked to sign up a couple months later. The instructors are fun but firm. The kids know why they are there and what is expected of them. Miss Lindsay, Mr. Joey & Instructor Chris are amazing. They keep the kids engaged and the parents informed.
