I never had success at a regular gym. Doing Muay Thai at Dragon Gym has been great for me. I have more energy and feel inspired to keep improving myself. It's sad to see in public schools today kids are forced to learn what they're told to learn and do what they're told to do, of course it's necessary, but children need an outlet for their creative energy and an outlet in general, dragon gym provides that for children that may otherwise not have a way to express themselves. Life can be so hard for a child and it can feel so hard to fit in with all the trends and judgement, martial expels that judgement and all you have is yourself and your partners in training who want to do nothing but see you grow. My 3 year old has been attending karate class here for a few months. He was very shy at the beginning but the teachers were great - low pressure, understanding but also very involved in building his confidence enough to join in. It took maybe 6 weeks for him to really get into it, but now he thoroughly enjoys it.
