Moved to exton in July was looking for a new experience and found dragon gym not far from my house. Been training there since August and It has been a great experience. Everyday it’s fun, new and exciting. Lonnie, Skye & Rizz are great trainers and they treat you like family. Everyone in that gym wants to see you succeed. It's hard to find a martial arts gym that teaches good technique, runs a good program and also is clean and professional. the squeaky clean joints teach nonsense and the good technique is often found in gyms that are cold and dirty. Short background, I’m 42 and I expressed an interest in martial arts to my wife about a year ago because I wanted to learn a new skill, get in shape and be part of a community; and also because if that movie scenario ever came up where I needed to defend her I wouldn’t disappoint! Well, she signed me up. Next thing I know I’m three color belts in and it’s everything I was looking for. The owners are very involved in day to day and the instructors exhibit mastery, humility, accessibility and patience but aren’t afraid to call you out because they know you can do better. They emphasize a philosophy of self confidence and self assurance so It’s an excellent program for children and teens. I’m hoping to get my daughter involved next year at 5. I’m excited for my journey toward mastery at DG. I will never truly get there because your only as good as your last kick. Read more >
