Donut Palace

Donuts were better when the original owners made them on the premises. The donuts aren't made in house. I had a twist donut which was very chewy and tough. The ladies working were nice. But donuts aren't as good as they used to be.

As an Englewood resident we love just a short drive over here to the Donut Palace. My daughter always loves the donuts here and the creative selections that they have. They have a huge selection much like other famous places south of town. The batter taste is spot on, the blueberry ones are amazing. The staff always has a smile and are genuinely warm-hearted which is a rarity these days. Thank you for serving the trotwood and surrounding communities we appreciate everything that you do.

This place is a hidden gem . I love the donuts and coffee. The main reason I give it a 3star is the old white woman who works in the morning. She is rude and disrespectful to not only customers but to her coworkers . Its truly sad

Great doughnuts honestly, massive selection to choose from. But with there being a huge selection, one would expect some time to choose what they want. That is not what I was granted when I entered the building. I prefer to go case by case and write down what I am going to get before repeating what I wanted to the employee to save them the time of running back and forth since I usually get a large amount of doughnuts, a dozen or more.
I asked the women for a moment to look and she immediately asked me again, and louder what I wanted. Before I can even get out the name of the first doughnut, she's grabbing and asking me multiple times what I want next not giving me a moment of time to think. Did not appreciate it that much honestly, feeling rushed and hurried while trying to decide still isn't very welcoming. Great doughnuts tho

This is the only place I had a bad donut. I had a chocolate one that tasted burned .

All the donuts were wedged into one box and all the icing came off every donut and onto the paper. So we actually got a dozen glazed donuts ( since there was no icing left on them) . Go to Krogers they have a great selection and lower prices and you box them yourself.
