The awning is awesome. The two two tone colored columns match our house siding and the awning covers pretty much our entire deck. Very simple to use and the parts and material do not feel cheap but feel like good quality mechanical parts and fabric. The installers were very professional and Mario did an outstanding job installing it and ensuring everything works properly and answered all our questions. Dario was an outstanding sales person and was instrumental in helping us choose our design and type awning.

When the owner comes out on his weekend off to make an minor adjustment on an awning his company installed two years ago at no charge, that screams outstanding customer service and should be appropriately commended. Most companies can adequately install and provide a degree of service, but “Designer Awnings” take customer service and satisfaction to a whole new level. Just had our awning installed and it looks great. Our deck build out had been delayed and Designer Awnings held our awning until we were ready. I called to arrange installation and in less than a week the awning was installed. From the initial sales visit to my home to measure and review our options to the final installation it was a first class experience. We are extremely pleased with our Sunestra motorized shade. It was impossible to sit on our porch in the afternoon due to the intense afternoon sun. We purchased the Sunesta Screens for our back patio which has an existing roof with three supports. The screens are eleven feet tall by 15 feet wide. We ordered 2 screens as the sun manages to dominate most of the patio by 1 PM. Additionally, we purchased the rail-guides with the screens so we would not have to tie off the screens when they are lowered to avoid flapping.

It took 2 visits to install. The first screen was installed with greater ease as it was connected to 2 pillars. The second screen was connected to one pillar and the house siding. This screen had a problem with lowering all the way. However, it was addressed and is now working.
