Learning Land - Kent

i love learning land my son has been there since he was 4 months old and loves it!!!

My son has been attending Learning Land for about 4 months now and has been doing very well with his communication skills and social skills. He has been attending Early intervention and therapy a few days a week and his teachers and staff make sure that they are on top of his goals and also communicating with me on where be us progressing and where as a team we want to work on. My son had a nanny for the first 2.5 years of his life so going into daycare was a rough transition for me, but the teachers and staff made it so much easier. My son is talking a lot more, making friends and loves his teachers. I would reccomend Learning Land!

The teachers and staff at Learning Land are polite and great with my 3 year old son. He is delayed in speech and a few other areas and with Early Intervention and going here he has strived! I am so thankful for them.

My daughter has attended the Early Head Start program at Learning Land since she was one month old. She started in the infant room and is now in the toddler class with Hilda, Mary, Hadil, and Caroline. Her teachers have been teaching her Spanish, Sign Language, and Arabic. Everyday she runs into her teachers arms and I usually have to chase her down to get her to leave in the afternoon because she’s having so much fun. The Director Mrs. Alisa and the Assistant Director Mrs. Rachelle both make an effort to visit the classrooms, I frequently see them visiting my daughter’s class and engaging with the children. When we’ve had difficulties making a payment Mrs. Mrs. Alisa has helped us out by letting us use a payment plan. My sister in law had some money troubles while my niece went here and I remember her telling me that Alisa worked with her to make a payment plan. Mrs. Staci the Family...

I have been working at Learning Land for 8 years. The owner Sherie, the Director Alisa and the Assistant Director Rachelle make Learning Land a welcoming place to work. The turnover rate for teachers is very low here which is great for the kids that we teach. We all work as a team and help each other out no matter what classroom we teach in.

When we were looking at daycares almost 5 years ago because we were getting my nieces from out of state at foster kinship I went around and visited at least 5 in my area and the home feel when you walk into Learning Land was the first thing that caught my eye. Second was the fact that they were full at the time and she told me some kids were moving up so there would be a few spots opening and a few weeks later when we got the girls they had two spots. They started the following Monday and I, to this day love everyone that works there. They have helped me raise these 2 little babies that I thought we were only going to have for a short time. They have been there the entire time. One of the girls had seperation anxiety and with all the teachers help she thrives in school. My daughter attend learning land since she was a toddler till she started kindergarten. I have nothing but good things to say about the teachers and staff. They were very understanding of my situation and did everything they could to accommodate mine and my daughters needs. Even when I had problems with a teacher the managers took quick action to resolve the problem.
