Das Hund Haus, Inc

I have never boarded an animal before, so this experience was a first for me. Because I recently lost my husband and had no one that could check on my two boys while I was out of town, I went hunting for a place to take them.

We boarded our dog there a few years ago and felt comfortable with Jill and the staff. They took excellent care of him. Some dogs come back from being boarded slightly changed, but not our Willy. When I found out I could bring him to their doggie social we signed up right away. It was wonderful watching him mix with the other dogs. Jill oversees the group and if any dog is misbehaving she will talk to the handler, sometimes asking them to leave if it continued. She has a great feel for dogs and I think they respond to her immediately. I highly recommend DHH. Read more >

Jill Wallace has a way with adults and children as well as animals. We took her an eight year old child with a new pound puppy that was 2 in March of 2016 and after less than a year she turned this team into junior high point champion at Polk County Youth Fair and 1st place, junior basic obedience at State Fair competition. They are the most caring and loving facility you will ever find. If they have to many overnight guests to take home at night, they sleep at the building. It is a fabulus place. Read more >
