ENT Sinus & Hearing Care Center - Dr. Samadi

I experienced sudden loss of hearing upon waking up for the left ear. In the beginning it felt the sounds were amplified so I suspected nasal pressure, but since they were no prominent symptoms, it led to confusion. The use of headphones helped me realize the diminished sounds experienced on one side. I scheduled the appointment with Dr. Samadi within the next two days and was fortunate to see him two days later. After testing I was prescribed heavy dose of prednisone for 20 days. I returned 3 weeks later and got retested as I had fully recovered hearing. I got lucky to approach ENT specialists quickly rather than waiting and got lucky to recover any nerve damage that might have occurred within that small window.
