Chubby Trout

First time visit..... Brought my wife, mother, and adult son here to celebrate his birthday. (We arrived and were seated at 7 o'clock) He loves the place and wanted us to try it out. Our waitress (not mentioning her name) came reasonably quick. We had ordered water's and a rootbeer for my son.

It took about 8-10 minutes, and she was back with waters and diet coke. 🙃
We told her we ordered the root beer. But we were ready to order. This was at about the 15-minute mark. We all noticed she seemed a bit inebriated or just a bit off. First, she had to borrow another servers tablet because hers supposedly locked up. We ordered the Brisket wedges for an appetizer. My mom and son ordered the perch dinner, and my wife ordered a chicken sandwich that had pineapple on it, I ordered a combo that had stuffed trout, perch, and coconut shrimp. It has that old time feeling.... Full of Nostalgia. The food was good and the atmosphere was great 👍

Best sushi in town

We came on a Monday night, a night when most other places are closed. We arrived around 5 and got a great booth in the corner. We tried 4 IPA style beers, none of them were for us so I had a Limoncello martini and Mike had a margarita, they were both delicious. We had the ahi tuna appetizer and it was onion and pepper heavy and would have been better served with warm sushi rice. The dynamite and red dragon rolls were both very good. The salmon nigiri was ok, it wasn’t served at room temperature, it was a little too cool to be excellent. The yellowtail however was amazing, so much so that we had another piece for dessert. They are doing some fun stuff with the interior decor and the service was good, friendly, relatively fast food delivery.

Love the vibe. Fish was all very good with large portions. Friendly and fast service. Better than anticipated even though I heard great things prior.

Always a great meal and great waitstaff! Large portions of great food! Some may find it a little on the expensive side, but definitely worth what you pay!

Never tried Sushi until they said there was a cook kind. We now go weekly for the big roll and calamari. Their food is the best.
