We would gladly drive an hour to have a date night here! Our waitress, Ashley K, was very good!
We did not have to ask for a refill one time. She went above and beyond by asking the kitchen to split our order on two plates without us asking.
The food was delicious. We ordered the sampler and calamari fingers.
The trout was a little salty, but it was still delicious.

We stopped for an early dinner after a long day. Kiah was such a breath of fresh air, very engaging. There’s a fine line between being intrusive and interesting conversation. The calamari fingers are excellent, a great sharing appetizer. The salmon was cooked perfectly, the shrimp tacos were great. Generous portions.

The post below was from 4 years ago, which was way different than our experience on Monday evening. Chubby Trout has always been my favorite place. I spent 33 years in Washington state and was desperate for good seafood in a landlocked state. Chubby Trout has always filled that need for me. Monday was very disappointing! My husband, daughter and I went for our 7th anniversary. We ordered fairly quickly, then waited over 2 hours for food. The espresso martini was delicious, but on an empty stomach, I didn't like the way I felt. By the time we got our food, I wasn't even hungry anymore. Consequently, my husband was in a terrible food for our special day, and I was eating dinner after what would normally be my bedtime since I get up at 4am to work for the County. The server did give us a free dessert for our anniversary, but I honestly would have rather had a cut in the bill for the time...
