Chubby Trout

We were there on a Friday night, they said that the wait time would be 35-40 minute wait , we waited maybe 15-20 minutes. Our waitress Ashley K was wonderful and attentive. We both had the prime rib, it was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys excellent food and service. Thank you Ashley.

My wife and I went here last night for our 5th Anniversary. It had been a few years since we were here. They were quite busy and we didn't have a reservation, but they were able to seat us immediately at the sushi bar. We thoroughly enjoyed watching chef Gil and his team curate such amazing sushi. The cocktails were also quite good. For dinner, my wife got the prime rib and I got the wagyu surf and turf. Honestly, this was an exceptional dining experience. The food was cooked to perfection, the sushi was out in under 40 minutes (we were told sushi was an hour wait). Our server was pleasant and the sushi team answered our many questions. We are about 35 minutes away from Chubby Trout, but my wife and I both agree. We need to make this trip far more often.

My son and daughter in-law suprised my husband and I with dinner in Elkhart at The Chubby Trout. Tifany made our 45th anniversary a splendid and memorable night! She was an exceptional, and our supper was equally so. We recommend their Primerib, Almond walleye, and carrot cake that rivals any you've enjoyed prior. Us old folks left quite full, quite cheerful, and quite satisfied.

Always amazing! I loooove the last Vegas roll and constantly think about the prime rim wedges. Bailey gave the best service.
