Chubby Trout

Recently in Elkhart for a client dinner, we tried Chubby Trout and had a fantastic experience. The hostesses were welcoming and friendly and seated us promptly. Our server, Tanner orchestrated a wonderful experience for us. He was attentive, knowledgeable and efficient in meeting all of our needs. I most appreciated that he managed timing well so that the meal flowed seamlessly between appetizer, entree and dessert courses- this allowed us to have a great dining experience, but also to have the time and balance to talk through the business discussions necessary. I highly recommend dining at Chubby Trout- if you’re in Elkhart ask for Tanner.

Love the sushi and salads and the server was awesome.

First time at this place and it was awesome! The food was great and their wait staff is above and beyond exceptional! We had Fishin Off The Pier Favorites and Smoked Prime Rib. We highly recommend these two entrées for dinner. Our dessert was carrot cake for 2. EXCELLENT!!! You enter the place as strangers but leave the place as family!!

I'd of given them a 5* for atmosphere but we got placed in a back room, 😜 we did have our daughter so I understand but all in all it was a solid place to eat, food was good, service was good and the prices weren't crazy for what you get. I personally got a double cheeseburger with bacon and thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife got a chicken wrap and our daughter the chicken basket. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for seafood though, there fish and sushi was what I imagine most people go there for. The tuna appetizer and calamari was very delicious. Normally not a fish person but I had no complaints.

Sooooo much different then the old Chubby Trout. This newly renovated restaurant not only had incredibly unique, fun, and fresh menu ideas, BUT you can tell that they truly care about their customers. We even got a phone call a couple of days later thanking us for choosing them to celebrate my mother's birthday and letting us know how much they appreciate us. You just don't get that kind of old fashioned customer service anymore. I highly recommend the Ahi tuna, and the prime rib mac and cheese! No matter what you choose, you really can't go wrong because we had quite a big party and everybody was incredibly happy with their choice! We will definitely be going back!

Great Ribeye and the service was outstanding
