Always excellent! The sushi is fantastic, the wait staff very attentive even when they are very busy, and the Almond crusted walleye was magnificent!

The sushi was amazing, dessert wonderful, and the service was perfect. Ashley Killian was our server and she was awesome. She was funny and very personable and put up with all of our shenanigans. Can't wait to come back

We totally fell upon this restaurant due to a GPS malfunction. We are from NC and didn't even know this place exsisted. Best detour ever! We had the Sushi Roll Lunch special! Totally amazing taste and quality. Also had the Loaded Prime Wedges as an appetizer, 100% recommend! Delicious!!!!

We made a three day trip to Elkhart Indiana. When looking for a place to have a late lunch we located the chubby trout. We each had a pasta dish (smoked prime rib mac and veggie pasta) that were both delicious. After reviewing their menu options, Experiencing the atmosphere and their excellent wait staff, we decided we would return the next day. When we travel we try to explore different food venues every day , however when we find a place that has all of the boxes ticked and at a high-level we sometimes return. We not only returned the next day to try their rolls… yum, yum (Thai veggie, sweet creamy shrimp, spicy tuna, and Cheesy Cali) but we had a to go order (Ahi tuna wrap and SueSue shrimp basket) before leaving Elkhart on our 3rd day returning home. Visit them whenever you are in the area, however it is worth a drive.
