We love their flexible options for part time care! We’ve had really great experiences with the teachers and they have gone above and beyond their role to care for our child. The welcoming environment from teachers and staff @ Children’s lighthouse of Oak Forest ( CLOF) made a huge impact in my son’s social skills. In his old school in new york, i remember him being quiet and not really engaging in class discussions , to a point we tried seeking therapy-based solutions. Now at CLOF, he transformed from a quiet child to a non-stop chatter. He looks forward to going to school, and always talks about his teachers and classmates. Our 15 month old has been at Children’s Lighthouse since she was 12 weeks old and we have been so impressed with this school since day one! We had issues getting her to take a bottle during my maternity leave which made me nervous about starting daycare. Mrs. Brenda, the director, took the time to meet with me and my husband prior to our daycare start date to lay out a plan for how she and the teachers would support me and my baby with our bottle issue and also gave tips and suggestions that we could try at home. That meant the world to me and really eased my concerns. We had such a smooth transition with no bottle issues! I also love that through the Procare app I receive photos of my baby throughout the day as well as real time updates about what she’s eating (or how many ounces of milk she drank as an infant), what activities she’s participating in, diaper changes, and naps. Our son has been with CLOF for almost 2 years, and he’s learned and grown so much during that time. He loves his teachers and all of the extracurriculars he has been able to experience. In his current class (Classroom 8, PK3), I’ve been amazed to see how much he is learning. We are so grateful for the school and his teachers! Read more >
