Children's Lighthouse Wylie

We switched to this school after being at another Children’s Lighthouse location. Wish we would have done it sooner. The staff is amazing! They are so kind and loving to my 2 year old. The teachers in room 5 are the best!!

My granddaughter goes to Children's Lighthouse. She is in the toddler class. We are so grateful for her teacher, Ms. Lawanda. She reads books and sings with the children. She loves the children and they love her. I like the way the children are actively engaged. They go and play in stations. I LOVE being able to watch my granddaughter during the day. I would recommend Children's Lighthouse to other parents.

My child has attended Lighthouse since she was an infant. She absolutely adores it here. She looks forward to coming and seeing her teacher and classmates which is such a relief for me. They always show her love and respect. She's learned so much. We are planning to have our second child and this is definitely the place I choose or my baby.

First let me start by saying that I am a picky mom. When we moved to Sachse/Wylie area, I visited probably 15 day cares in the surrounding area and made multiple visits to each one before deciding on preschool for my son.

Children's Lighthouse is a great place for a preschool education. Our son started there when he was around 3 years old and could barely trace his name. Their dedication to curriculum and his development over the last two years has certainly surpassed my expectations. He was reading and doing double digit addition before he left for Kindergarten, knows presidents and his states and capitals and a whole lot more. The teachers there are great. I could not be more thankful for the love my son received from all of his teachers especially Ms. Nicole and Ms. Kenya and a host of others.

We have loved our time at Children's Lighthouse in Wylie! Our daughter has been attending Children's Lighthouse since she was 8 weeks old. She thinks that her teachers have hung the moon! She also loves the staff in the front that greet her each morning and evening. The teachers and staff are phenomenal. They are loving and nurturing, while continuing to help each child be successful at their level of ability. The curriculum that they use prepare the kids for kindergarten. At four, my daughter can write her ABC's, numbers, name (first and last), shapes and many other things. She also enjoys reading the little readers that they read in class and then send home to read. My daughter loves going to school and see her teachers and friends each day.

Children's Lighthouse in Wylie has been a great place for our son. The facilities are clean, and the staff is friendly and trustworthy. It is a positive, healthy environment that any parent can feel safe leaving their children in. The curriculum is well designed, preparing the children for entrance into school.

The staff are great! Always involved and truly care about ever child as if they're their own. It wasn't an easy transition from staying at home to a classroom setting 3-5 days a week, but they made it enjoyable for my toddler. I love that I get a daily report so I can ask about her day and find out what new things she has learned. It has been a great experience all around.
