New Dad and my only experience with any daycare so let that set the stage. Having said that, my son has been here for almost 2 years, starting at 6 months. I've been happy with the curriculum, structure and most of the teachers. I could never do the job as one of these teachers, managing 8-12 kiddos at one time.

If a parent were to ask my offline opinion, here's what I'd say; Yes, I do like this place. The communication could be better in real time as we go through the day. Updates are not consistent, but I do feel that the majority of the teachers who are spending 8+ hours a day around my son are high quality. And that it primarily why we have continued to go to this facility; the teachers. Most of them are Mothers, have a lot of patience and are receptive to feedback.

They take tremendous care of my two boys. I have a 3 year old and 5 year old. Both boys have attended the lighthouse for about 4 months and have made leaps and bounds!

My 3 year old went from barely talking to counting to 30 and understanding some Spanish!

The teachers are so patient and attentive to the children. It is a wonderful place that I am so thankful we found! Read more >

They teach my son new life skills through songs and activities. The daycare is kept clean and secure. And they serve healthy meals that he loves. The private system they use allows us to see what he is doing throughout the day and keeps us updated with all the things he is learning. Read more >
