At first there were several issues and things we were not happy with but the owners and director were always willing to talk with us and try to work on certain things. Lately we have been pleased with everything. Ms. Kim has been incredible and is so caring when it comes to our daughter. She shows compassion and makes me feel better about leaving my baby girl during the day. She always provides an update at the end of the day and in the report during the day so I know exactly what is going on. I feel that Reynolds is learning and can tell that she loves the interaction with other kids as well as the teachers. I also love receiving the artwork she does. Read more >

We are so thankful to have found CLH. We placed our daughter in their care at 6 months. As a hesitant first time mom, I was amazed at how easy the transition from home to daycare was on our baby (and myself, especially with video access to the class). The staff quickly learned about our child and welcomed her with open arms. They have taken great care in her well being physically, socially, and emotionally. We have watched our daughter flourish in the last 8 months.

Since beginning CLH, there has been some staff turn over, but we have been lucky with amazing teachers- special shout outs to Kensey, Kimberly, Samaiya, Tiera, Bri, Arielle, Claudette, and Amanda. I’d like to add that as a teacher, we see teacher turn over in our profession constantly. It takes a strong, dedicated individual to commit to the daily demands of the field.

We were looking around for daycares for our 5 month old son and chose Children’s Lighthouse for the convenience and how nice everyone is. Our infant 1 teachers have given our son attentive care and any feedback we gave in regards of his care they have done their best to their ability. I have to keep in mind that there are 7 other babies they have to take care of also. I love receiving photos throughout the day and the ability to peek into the classrooms via their cameras. We initially shopped about a dozen local day care facilities but decided to go with Childrens lighthouse. We have had our infant son in daycare there for a couple months now and we are very pleased with not only the level of care that he receives but the professionalism of the staff. The facility, being brand new, is wonderful and all of the classrooms and building itself are kept very clean. All of the staff is quick to greet both us and our son with a smile when he arrives and it's a nice touch when they send home little craft items like "painted feet prints" for our scrapbook. I can't think of anything worrisome about the level of care provided here. The facility had a few bugs to iron out (ex Front door was broken for a day) when they first opened up but nothing that we deemed concerning. My daughter has been going to children's lighthouse for about 3 months. Within 1 week everyone knew her name and says hi every morning and evening. They make her feel so special and we love it! She really likes the spray ground, yoga and special activities each week. I like the webcams and can check in on her daily, I watch the teachers spend time with her on an individual level. We are are so happy with Lighthouse. Our son is in the three year old classroom and loves school. He is engaged and enjoys yoga, dance, and music. He is also learning great songs, his letters, and numbers. Our daughter is in the school aged program before and after school. It is great to know she is being safely transported, and we can check the webcam to see that she was picked up. She loves the enrichment that she receives. My daughter attends Track Out Camp and really enjoys the program. The staff has lots of activities planned for the children which my daughter always comes home to tell us about. If you haven't visited the center yet, I recommend scheduling a tour to see how great the facility is. Read more >
