My son goes to Childrens Lighthouse part-time and I could not be more happy with this daycare. My son is excited to go to school and talks about his teachers all the time . We have been with Lighthouse since they opened last year. The owners are committed to providing a place where teachers, children, and families can flourish. They invest in quality in every aspect of the center - teachers, facility, food, etc. The center is growing and that can present challenges, but feedback is taken seriously and addressed in a timely manner. This is our 3rd daycare, and is by far the best. There is also a parent advisory committee that parents can get involved in which is great! Read more >

We've been very happy with Children's light house. When we were looking to transfer our kids to a different daycare around the leesville area (there were 3-4) it was obvious that CLH is a cut above the rest. The teachers are great and we know they really care about our kids. One time my wife was watching our kids using the surveillance system and she had a question, she put it in the app and the teacher answered within 1 hour. Read more >

We switched our kids to CLH 8 months ago. My little one enjoys the music class and my older kid loves yoga. I very much appreciate how they value parent involvement and we look forward to school events, especially regular conferences and enrichment showcase. I can see the admin trying their best to reduce teacher turnover, but we have been fortunate in our classrooms - my kids have had the same teachers since starting! I know my kids love their teachers and I see the teachers are caring and nurturing. I have been getting the support I need with regards to transitioning my children into new routines/practices. Since the beginning, I have seen transparency and open/prompt communication with teachers and staff. The only wrinkle I've experienced so far was when the director left - my child was to move up pre-birthday but didn't anymore; they worked with us though to make sure my kid... Read more >

I cannot begin to describe how happy we have been since moving to Children's Lighthouse. We had previously taken our daughter to another daycare when I went back to work after my maternity leave ended and unfortunately it was not a good fit. We got lucky and landed a spot in one of the infant rooms here and have been shown what our first experience with daycare should have been like. The teachers are extremely friendly and take the time at drop off and pick up to tell me how my daughter's day has been or to ask if she had a good night. They also take the time to document her day via the Preschool2Me app as well. Even the teachers and staff outside of the two infant rooms have been so kind and welcoming to us. We are very happy with CLH! As first time parents, with family out of state, when we enrolled our 4 month old daughter back in October we were hesitant to leave our baby in the hands of strangers. Our worries were quickly put at ease when we saw the bond she developed with her teachers, initially in infant classroom 1 and now in infant classroom 2. She immediately smiles when we walk into her classroom in the morning, and is smiling when we pick her up in the afternoon. The preschool2me app offered by the school allows her teachers to keep us up to date with her daily activity reports, which also provides pictures, memorable moments of the day, and what she needs replenished, (i.e., diapers, wipes, etc..). We moved our children to Childrens Lighthouse on Leesville Rd about 5months ago. My 4 yr old daughter LOVES her Class-9 teacher, and my 3 yr old son has been doing great in Class-7.
