Children's Lighthouse of North Center Chicago

Choosing a daycare during a global pandemic was a stressful experience for us, but Children's Lighthouse made it easy and comfortable. We have really enjoyed our experience here. The facility is bright and sunny and clean. They take safety and health precautions seriously and we always feel safe leaving our daughter here. There is video monitoring if you like and we appreciate the pictures that are sent throughout the day. They do a ton of fun activities with the kids throughout the day. My daughter loves the indoor gym (especially in the winter time). Everyone is welcoming and friendly and knows our daughter by name. Would highly recommend.

Children’s Lighthouse is amazing! My son has been attending here for almost 2 years and he started at 3 years old. The teachers are attentive and provide daily updates on his meals and naps. They take lots of pictures everyday and the fact the I can check into the camera system to see what he is up to live is definitely a plus for this “helicopter mom.” He loves going to school and above all the curriculum at the school is pretty impressive. At 4, my son is able to write his letters and numbers, read off sight words and large 2 digit numbers and is learning to tell time and count coins. Children’s Lighthouse is also very responsive via email and are flexible when I switch days that he attends around. This place is highly recommended!

Perfect balance of education, nurturing and parent/school collaboration. Our 5 year old is absolutely THRIVING - socially, and academically - and I truly believe it’s because of CLH being an extension of our village. :)

Friendly & attentive staff, works great with our schedules for drop off and pick up, secure building so we know our child is safe and taken care of at all times. We’re so glad they’re in our neighborhood!

I can’t say enough good things about Lighthouse! We send both of our kids there and they love it! I feel confident in the care provided to our children, the building is safe, it is friendly and creative environment, and our children come home learning something new every day. I love the real time updates from Tadpoles and the photos they send throughout the day. During quarantine, they provided us with educational materials and offered virtual circle time to keep our children engaged. Definitely recommend Lighthouse!

Great school, wonderful staff. My kids have been attending for 5 years and all 3 of them loved their experience. Highly recommend!
