Since moving to Texas Children’s Lighthouse of McKinney has felt like a part of our family. Now during all of this craziness they are doing even more to make sure that they are there for me and my family even when we are not there. We really love this place. The location is perfect for us and we really love that it’s a smaller center. The teachers have all been really great and organized. They introduce themselves, organize my child’s belongings for the day, and update me about my child’s day when I come for pick up. The kids have schedules and planned activities. My child has never come home with a diaper rash which tells me they are attentive. The office staff is also very friendly and flexible with some of our changing needs. The prices are reasonable, too! The teachers are very friendly and are very engaged with the kids when I’ve observed. A lot of them even introduce themselves, which I appreciate. They do have schedules and planned activities. Different themes keep it a fun atmosphere. The leadership staff is also very kind and have been very flexible with my family’s changing needs. What I like most about this place is that it’s a smaller center, not a huge theme park type daycare with sensory overload. Also prices are reasonable. I don’t worry about my babies when I leave them here for the day. The infant room teachers were also particularly great, on our first day they were very interested in my baby’s schedule and they were very organized.

Someone who comments about children being wild probably shouldn’t be working with small kids, obviously. Read more >
