After hearing both negative and positive reviews of this location and then talking with the staff, I decided to give this daycare a try with my 2 year old daughter. Yes there have been some hiccups along the way, however, I am so happy with my decision to attend because in the last 3 weeks I have seen nothing but love and care for my child. Every time I check on the camera system, she is happy. I even saw her fall of something and start crying once (totally her fault) and Ms. Candice went straight to her and held her in her arms for the next 5 minutes to comfort her, even once she was done crying. My daughter had a hard time adjusting to the new routine (she had never been to daycare before and had a total sleep regression at home for the first 10 days) and so many staff members, including the owner, checked in with me every time I showed up to see how she was doing. Transitioning a child from a small, private childcare setting to a larger childcare center is often the most difficult decision any parent can make.
This was the case for us when we enrolled at Children's Lighthouse. We were concerned about safety, cleanliness, whether our 3 year old would receive the level of individual attention he requiered from staff, academic curriculum and appropriate classroom structure.
These concerns were laid to rest when I received a personal phone call from the Director informing me that our son was adjusting well during his first week.
These concerns remain at rest as we are at our 1-year anniversary with Children's Lighthouse of Little Elm. The staff has remained open and available to speak with us when we requested.
I am impressed with the way the staff continues to make consistent efforts to accommodate every child and parent...

I enjoyed my experience. I loved that my baby got to do crafts and interact with other babies. If price wasn't an issue I would definitely keep my child enrolled. Everyone i encountered was nice and friendly no complaints
