Children's Lighthouse Hoover

I’m honestly so grateful to have found this place for my daughter. The staff from beginning to end has been so amazing from how they treat the children to what they offer in each classroom. They even have a Curriculum Coordinator which helps ensure the kids receive the most advanced way of learning with the right material for them to excel. They take pride in the cleanliness of the building and they even have a school dog “Darla”I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great learning and nurturing place for their little one.

I am grateful for the changes that have been made at Children’s Lighthouse. From the time you walk in the door, it’s nothing but safe and warm vibes from administration and staff. The teachers are already in class ready for your child/children to come in and learn. Education is always top tier for me. I know that with one of my babies being in Pre-K she’s definitely getting the full education needed for her to start her journey with elementary school. Mrs. Sandy has the tools needed to prepare pre-k learners for kindergarten. I also love that she communicates with where my baby struggles at, so that we can work on it at home and not just at school. They’re providing healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack for your child/children. The building is always clean, classrooms are clean, restrooms, and even the playground. I watched this school being built years ago. I attempted to apply to work there at the time but it did not feel right. But recently after Dr. Sullivan became the new owner and hands on administrator I saw a new light at Children's Lighthouse! I have found the Early School I hope the retire from. The 401k program meets my needs. The curriculum is challenging and as a teacher with a graduate degree and almost 30 years of experience I am excited to work at a school that is more than just "baby sitting". Having a full time Curriculum Director on staff is amazing. Working at a school that utilizes my certifications in special needs and Early Intervention for children birth to age three is refreshing. I am able to help children that otherwise would be expelled from other centers. And I get to have FUN!

Granddaughter loves it! Nice and clean with up to date learning resources. Friendly staff.

Our daughter has attended the summer program 2yrs now. CLH has consistently provided great care, and a fun environment with creative learning activities and field trips. 💝

My 5 stars are going to Kat and Brittany ! Kat is awesome when it comes to Administration and always at the front desk & Brittany is the Assistant Director and has been such a pleasure to work with since my daughter has started . These two are the gems of this school. Thank you both for taking care of anything i needed assistance with .

We are truly thankful for the experience our kid had for almost 1 year attending CLH, doing preK with Ms Sandy was the best! He improved his language skills (we are from Mexico) and now he’s a little bookworm 🎉
