Children's Lighthouse of Grand Mission

Childrens Lighthouse is an excellent school! The teachers, staff, and directors are wonderful to my kids. I was nervous with my one year old going to daycare for the first time, but the teachers have helped ease the transition process greatly. They take great care of her and are very understanding to her needs. You can tell they genuinely care and go above and beyond for all the children there. I would definitely recommend this school 100%!

My son used to get sick a lot from his old school. That was the main reason we pulled him out from there. Full transparency, he was 6 months old when he started there, and I know it’s normal to get sick in daycare. But being sick almost monthly doesn’t feel normal.

When we moved to Children’s Lighthouse, my son has never gotten sick *knock on wood*. I can see how clean the place is, during nap time the teachers clean the toys and the rooms while the children are sleeping. And then again after hours.

My son has learned a lot too. Whenever he gets home, I will see him dance and sing and say colors and animal sounds (he’s 2), and even do sign language. I was learning this from him too! He loves his school too, after he adjusted, I can see how his eyes smile when I drop him off and doesn’t even get excited to see me when I pick him up anymore.

My son has been at Lighthouse since 6months and have seen upward series of great changes. I love how responsive, attentive and supportive the staff and teachers are. I have not had issues that were not resolved accordingly and am grateful my son has a safe place to grown and learn. From the owners, director Dawn, admins and all the teachers, we have nothing but great things to say!

Everyone here is genuinely so nice and respectful from the director all the way down to the teachers. Isabella at the front desk is absolutely amazing! She’s always kind, helpful, cheerful, and eager to assist. The whole staff is warm, welcoming, and incredibly supportive. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and understood. I’m truly grateful I chose their after-school care program for my son it’s clear he’s in good hands with such a kind and caring team.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Children’s Lighthouse. Ever since our daughter started in Ms. Gihan and Ms. Asma’s class, she has absolutely thrived. She learned her numbers, shapes, and colors by the age of 2, and we’ve seen so much growth in her speech and social development since starting here.

She absolutely adores her teachers—she even includes them in her prayers at night, which says so much about how safe and loved she feels. The staff is also great about communication and always calls with updates or to let us know about any incidents, which gives us even more peace of mind.

We’re so grateful for the care, structure, and joy this school brings to our family!
