Children's Lighthouse Fairfield

We recently bought a home in Hockley and needed a new daycare center for our 5 year old daughter. We were looking for a center that could transport her to and from school being that she would start kindergarten this school year. We choose The Children’s Lighthouse. We have no regrets! Our daughter loves it there. She started during the summer and attended the summer program, where they go on 2 field trips a week, bring in entertainers and do arts & cratfs, and have splash days on Fridays along with snow cones! Now that school has started, they transport her to and from the elementary. This gives me more piece of mind than my little one riding the big school bus at age 5. I would recommend! Read more >

We moved our 1 1/2 yr old son to Children’s lighthouse after having a horrible experience with a daycare that is much closer to our home. We live on the outskirts of Magnolia and it’s about a 25 min drive for us each way but has been well worth it. We have our youngest son there as well and we couldn’t be happier with this daycare. The entire staff is extremely friendly, communication is top notch, the preparation for kindergarten has been excellent and most importantly our boys love going there everyday. I almost NEVER give 5 starts in a review because I believe that there is always room for improvement but my experience with Childrens Lighthouse has been nothing but positive! My granddaughter is 2 years old, and I only have positive things to say about the 3 ladies in her room. They are fantastic! Before Childrens Lighthouse, my granddaughter had been through 2 other day cares. The other day cares only hire teenage girls fresh out of high school with no experience working with children and had no  type of training/certifications. This led to a lot of frustration on both ends.  Childrens Lighthouse understand that age 2 is a very critical age not only with potty training,  but  toddler defiance  as well. I have had my children at the Children’s Light House (Fairfield) for over 4 years. They have learned so much!! Both have had teachers that were very sweet and pleasant the whole time.
