I have been seeing the staff at Cederquist for a little over 3 months now. The education I’ve received has changed my attitude towards food in such a significant way. Besides the pounds I’ve taken off, just learning how our bodies react to certain foods, especially as we age, has been transformative for me. Making that first visit was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I highly recommend their program.

I have struggled with my weight for years and about 10 years ago, found the only thing that worked was minimal calorie intake combined with very aggressive exercise. About 2 years ago, with an autoimmune disorder plus other medical problems, nothing worked & I couldn't tolerate extreme activity. Enter Cederquist Medical Wellness Center. I've never completed such an extensive medical/health history and the NP went through all of it in detail at my initial evaluation. Extensive labs were ordered based on that evaluation. For the first time, I was being managed as an individual and NOT as "one size fits all". I did not want an eating plan requiring me to purchase the doctor's prepared foods, but rather to learn to prepare my own healthy options and manage appetite. I was gaining a lot of weight and it was causing me physical problems. My wife was seeing Dr. Cederquist. I made an appointment to see her. The Dr. was very friendly and ask me what my eating habits were. She listened to everything I said. I have been working with her counselor's. We worked out a plan and I was feeling better about myself. They help me with ideals to stay on track. Sometimes, I don't always stay on track and do better when I journal. Because this makes me see what I am doing to myself. Again, they will help you out with anything they can do to keep you on track to reach your goal.

They were a wonderful staff to work with. Everyone that was involve with my weight loss program took a lot of time to ensure that I was going to succeed at my goal of loosing weight and changing my lifestyle. The Dietitian that i worked with really cared a lot about my journey of loosing weight and wants me to continue to put forth a great effort and is there to help me anytime I need.
