Let me begin by telling you I had the surgery on both hands 3 months ago. My symptoms began years ago. I lived with the discomfort of carpal tunnel because I didn't want to stop working and stop sports. I had steroid injections twice and used splints at night and during the day at times. I tried aspirin like medications and B6 recommended from a doctor friend. Nothing helped. I am a very active person who likes tennis and golf. I am also a Gastroenterologist who has done nearly 50,000 procedures during my career. Despite friends,family and several doctors including hand surgeons trying to talk me out of going to Carpal tunnel express, I did my research,read the reviews and discussed the surgery with Dr Jurbala. I decided this was my best option and went to Lakeland Florida from NYC. Each hand took 15 minutes in total. I had discomfort for a few days but never needed pain medication...

I'm so happy I got carpal tunnel surgery at this place. I returned to work only 2 days after surgery, and was even able to start playing golf again after 2 weeks! No more pain whatsoever! The cost of the surgery here was only a fraction of the cost compared to other surgery centers. Thank you to the doc and staff.

I had carpal tunnel surgery in both of my hands three months ago and so far I’m very satisfied with the results. My hands do not fall asleep any more and my recovery has been steady. I still have some pain in the area of the incition and I cannot do push-ups yet, but I knew that it would take several months before total healing occurred.
I cannot say it enough but the staff here is amazing — they were very supportive and extremely professional. The rooms were extremely clean and organized. I would absolutely recommend anyone who is suffering from carpal tunnel pain to visit this office. Dr. Jurbala was very professional and efficient. The procedure is very quick so you’ll be in and out within a couple of hours.

Dr. Jurbala helped with dual carpal tunnel procedures in the fall of 2017 and then with a case of trigger thumb in the spring of 2018. Both experiences were absolutely amazing. Truly have never been through such pleasant "medical" experiences anywhere else. I could ramble on, but the bottom line is this: regardless of where you live, it's worth the trip if you have a condition he can treat. Period. Pay the airfare and save on the hospital bill. Truly remarkable experiences, all the way around.
