My child who was only 2 at the time and was referred by her pediatrician was denied services due to her inability to sit at a table for long periods of time and being protected of her mouth with non preferred foods this was beyond disturbing she is level 2 non verbal with global delay and serious feeding issues with previous enrollment in another feeding therapy the reason for the referral was to do the exact reason she was denied service plus more I will never go back and I told her pediatrician how disgusted I was she is disabled with feeding issues

My child was bored and didn’t want to do anything because he wasn’t interested in any of the things was offered.
Also, the police’s office is not fair. They call you saying that they have a empty spot in certain time, if you think you can make it but something happens and you are unable to make it the count as a no show and they discharge the child. Openings should not count as a no show. For parents who work and also have a child with special needs the life is busy as it is. Like everybody parents with special child need to pay bills.
