Call My Mover

My brother recently had a disappointing experience with a moving company. Initially, they appeared very friendly and provided a reasonable quote for their services. However, after they picked up his belongings and moved them, they unexpectedly demanded four times the original quoted price. My brother didn't have any other options but to pay the inflated price because his belongings had already been moved. If he refused to pay, they threatened to take his belongings with them.

I had a terrible experience with them.
They initially appeared professional and trustworthy.
But they are totally scammed.

I strongly advise everyone considering doing business with them. Their practices are unethical, and they exploit trusting individuals.
Save yourself the trouble and avoid this scam altogether.

Scammer alert ———We recently used *Call My Mover* for our move and let me tell you, it was a real *blow to the wallet* While they got the job done, the final cost far exceeded what I was quoted and left a dent in my moving budget.

Overall, I would only recommend if you're prepared for a potentially hefty bill. If you're on a tight budget, keep searching! There are definitely more affordable and transparent moving companies out there.

A friend’s parents were moving from Long Island NY to North Carolina. They were quoted a very reasonable price by Call My Mover. On the day of the move, their furniture and possessions were loaded onto the truck without any apparent care.When they arrived at their new home, their furniture and belongings did not arrive as scheduled. After calling several times to follow up, they were advised that unless and until they paid a sum double the original price, their belongings would be held in transit. As “proof,” they were shown an electronic contract that they had allegedly signed agreeing to pay that amount. They did, as their worldly goods were being held hostage. When their life’s worth of belongings was finally delivered, most of them were damaged, some items arrived in pieces.

I had a terrible experience with this moving company. They initially quoted me $1,477 over the phone for a move from the Bronx to Vestal, NY. However, after picking up my belongings, I received a message stating that I had to pay $5,882, or else the movers wouldn't deliver my stuff.

I wish I had seen the hundreds of reviews detailing how they scam people. Unfortunately, filing a lawsuit seems impossible because they don't have any legitimate office.

Do not use this company as your movers; they will loot you. Stay away and find a more reputable service!

I’m told of a nightmare scenario whereby an old friend has had her elderly parents property literally destroyed by these guys, and now she doesn’t even have the ability to leave a review. Unamerican.

Kyle and his crew were excellent. They constantly worked. They were personable and courteous. They enjoyed working and treated our possessions as their own. They were efficient and knew exactly what they were doing. Nothing was damaged or broken, and our move went great. We highly recommend Call My Movers.

KYLE and his team were excellent
They arrived in the time windows and got right to work. All three men were constantly at work. They handled all of our belongings as if their own.Since we have some delicate belongings this was greatly appreciated. All were personable and enjoyed their work. We all laughed and shared experiences. The entire move from the time they arrived until they left (including driving time to New location 35 miles) was about 6 hours. There was not any damage done to our possessions at all. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Call My Movers.

I would give zero stars. Its a scam! First I was quoted a price for the move with an in person walk through. I was charged through a credit card as a deposit. Then I was told a few days before the move that they would not accept a credit card, needed to be cash. Then on the day of the move they overcharged me by over $1000 and since they already had all my stuff in the truck and my lease was up, I was in a bind. Then they told me I could pay half and then the other half on delivery. Then I was told I had to pay before the delivery or the truck would not deliver. Then they were supposed to deliver on Monday and they showed up on a Saturday. Then they lost the box spring to my bed and the frame to my day bed leaving me without a bed to sleep in. When I called to f/u on the lost items, they told me they were not lost they were in their wharehouse and would be delivered but could not...
